Tim Reid has done a number of major remodel projects for my wife and I, both at our home in Pacific Palisades and at a vacation home in Lake Arrowhead. The projects included overseeing new wood flooring at both homes, remodeling a living room, remodeling three bedrooms, expanding a kitchen to double its original size, expanding/remodeling four bathrooms, and replacing an exterior fence and building a new deck off two of the bedrooms. He is very creative, and his final work has exceeded our expectations. All of the work was done in a timely manner and on budget. I trust him implicitly, and have not hesitated to simply give him a key to the house and go on vacation while he did his work.

It has been my pleasure and good fortune to work with Tim Reid on two separate remodel projects. For the first project, Tim transformed my drab, generic, 1980’s kitchen to a fabulous, bright, cheery “Tuscany-by-the-Sea” kitchen. From the beginning, Tim understood what I wanted and helped me choose the right materials to achieve the final goal. All of the men working on the project were friendly, professional, and so efficient. The attention to detail and workmanship on every aspect of my kitchen exceeded my expectations. And did the project come in on time, as predicted? Of course it did. I couldn’t be happier.
The second project was a patio re-do. My old, weathered redwood deck was removed and a new, beautifully tiled hard-scape patio stands in its place. The patio is larger with more usable space. Just like the other project, I was thrilled with the process and the outcome. I suppose now I have no excuses and must begin entertaining immediately!

Tim was referred to use by Idler’s Home Appliances, as Idler’s was the company that we purchased the cabinets, appliances and counter top. Tim installs all of Idler’s cabinets. As our project fell outside of only cabinet install, we contacted Tim to provide an estimate on other remodel issues, which included kitchen tear out, wall removal, electrical, plumbing, tiling, etc. Tim provided a detailed estimate we considered quite reasonable. As he was installing the cabinets for Idler’s, we looked no further for a General Contractor. I would highly recommend Tim as a General Contractor. He provided a timeline and maintained that timeline for all areas within his control. As we live outside the area, Tim would text pictures each day of the progress being made. Also, Tim would provide recommendations on alternatives such as lighting, flooring, appliance delivery and installation, etc. all of which we did. And, most importantly for us, he was clean and tidy. You don’t see that often, or at all, with most GCs. On a personal note, my wife passed away suddenly in the middle of the project. I contacted Tim and he stated not to worry, he would take care of everything. He did!

Tim is fantastic to work with.! He is a wonderful communicator, we knew when he would be at our home, what was going to happen and he cleans up when he is done for the day.
