Timothy Reid is a licensed general contractor and started his construction career in 1978. He worked as a carpenter’s apprentice on residential and commercial projects all over southern California. After several years of working his way up to a journeyman’s level lead carpenter, Tim moved back to Santa Fe New Mexico where he grew up in the 60’s &70’s. There he studied and perfected his skills in Spanish style architecture, furniture design and manufacturing. In 1989 Tim returned to Southern California to open his own custom furniture and cabinet shop. He has continued his studies of design, architecture, and art to focus on his passion for the creation of sacred living and working space.
His other influences are Native American and primitive art. Japanese gardening and wood joinery. The traditional art of Chinese feng shui. As well as the more contemporary art of form & function. Always with the emphasis on environmentally sound practices.

For the last 20 years Tim has lived and worked exclusively on the Westside of Los Angeles. Where his business has grown and developed into a full service home improvement and remodeling company. He also consults and collaborates with design professionals throughout the industry. His philosophy of integrity and customer satisfaction as well as maintaining a high standard of quality craftsmanship has gained the respect of his peers, and a large satisfied client base.

Tim now resides in Pacific Palisades with his wife Sara a professional photographer and their two dogs Sally and Renda. In their off time they enjoy weekend hikes, biking, and surfing, they also enjoy cooking together and entertaining friends.
